Our clinics are out of the ppe needed to protect our staff who collect specimens and we cannot source any. Called DSHS Covid line and local health department with no luck. Local hospitals including mine do not have any they are willing to share. Henry Schein will take a week now to get it in, and Walmart and the like are out. If anyone knows where I can source some of these supplies please pm me.

go more extreme... get a full face mask from home depot that typically would be used for painting or working with chemicals... its not disposable like the others and wont be cheap, but when you have no other options

it's too bad people are hoarding items they don't even need.

not sure how, but there should be a PSA put out saying if you have any n95 masks to donate or possibly exchange at local clinics/hospitals that truly need them.

it has to be on the list of ppe known to prevent transmission due to particle size

I assure you we are not much better off. They have been limiting our purchases of masks since late January, most of us are already scrambling for them (we're currently limited to two boxes/week per practice). They've also began to limit our purchasing of gloves and infection control wipes.

Can get half mask n95 and P100 cartridge respirators from mcmaster carr, grainger, or other industrial supply companies. Check local stores or websites.

I have done this, not sure I'd they are still easily had, but I bought ones for my family as a backup.

I believe you have to be medical/first responder to order, but Bound Tree has some N95s in stock.

So evidently our politicians took a pay off from China so that no companies in the US are allowed to make Them? I heard a republican congressman talking on Fox the other night and he said someone pushed through a bill that made it illegal to make these masks in the US?

Anyone else here this?
