Final update:

They are home. Left JFK late this morning and came to Austin on a thinly populated plane (30 people on an Airbus A320) . Conversely, the trip from London to JFK was totally full.

More surprises at JFK this morning: TSA was basically business as usual - people putting keys and coins in the small bins, unpacking bags for the inspectors, etc. Wife was thinking that TSA was changing protocol to account for Coronavirus, but found that was not the case. No temperature checks, no questions about how they were feeling.

She and my daughter both feel fine, but she thinks the probability of them coming down with it after the amount of exposure over the last 2 days is very high.

Her final thoughts: What we're being told on the news about medical checks, and what is actually happening at the airports is NOT the same. Get Ready.

(Edit: Emoji is for the fact that they're home - should be followed by angry emoji, then radioactive one)

Keep us posted on the fam.

Short update:

Everyone is hanging out at home and waiting it out. My son drove to CS yesterday to pick up my daughter's class materials and some clothes out of her dorm room, and had to get an RA to let him in the dorm, as my daughter's ID card has been suspended as a result of her registering international travel on the Aggie Portal. No worries, though, as he was able to get into the dorm and get all of her needed items.

Wife was feeling dr**** this morning, and is feeling like a migraine is coming on. Understandable for her, as she usually gets one after a highly stressful time and when things calm down. Plus, with all of the oak pollen around, we're all susceptible to seasonal allergies, which are starting to kick in.

I got all the items we need for the next 2 weeks in runs to HEB and Randalls. (If you're a Monopoly player at Randalls, they're being rather generous with the playing pieces right now.)

Outside of that, I'm getting some work done at home, and cleaning/sanitizing bathrooms and kitchen areas. Exciting day.

And I accidentally triggered the Texags content filter, so that's a bonus.
