With all the school closings, I'm sure most parents are going blind on what to do with their kids. I know my district has given very minimal suggestions. I thought we could use this thread to provide high-quality resources for parents.


Florida Center for Reading Research has amazing ready to go and research-based literacy activities for kids (pre-reading through upper elementary). If you aren't sure what kind of literacy(reading/writing) activities would be good for your kids, just PM me. I have a Ph.D. in Language and Literacy and 10 years of classroom experience.
