Reservations made on or before March 14, 2020 for stays and Airbnb Experiences, with a check-in date between March 14, 2020 and April 14, 2020, are covered by the policy and may be cancelled before check-in. Guests who cancel will receive a full refund, and hosts can cancel without charge or impact to their Superhost status. Airbnb will refund all service fees for covered cancellations.

We've got an AirBnB reservation for the end of April. We haven't cancelled, but I don't see any way at this point that we can make it.

We have an air bnb in CS and have had like 7 cancellations already. All have gotten 100% refund. Killing us

We moved a trip from April 3rd to August and our VRBO guy made the switch immediately at no cost. We had already paid the full amount but still no penalties etc.

My buddies that own Airbnb's are not getting anything from air bnb.

Yeah I rented a place for a graduation in May that's not going to happen now. Homeowner said to just go thru Airbnb so we will see if they eventually move that date from mid April to the end of May.

I feel like there's still a possibility I get screwed.

My AirBnBs in San Antonio are getting killed. Everyone has been canceling for a full refund. This is going to really hurt the STR market. I bet a lot of us owners switch back to long term rentals.

I have one in Charlotte the first weekend in May and the renter said they'd refund my deposit if my event gets cancelled. It sounds like it's hit or miss.

I cancelled an Airbnb Tuesday for early April. Immediate refund. They did great.

I did not get my refund. I will try again in a month if Airbnb moves the dates because my trip is in late May.

If this Covid stuff somehow vanishes between now and then I will go.

Yeah anybody who has a rental before April 15th can cancel for a full refund. Mine is 5 1/2 weeks after that. Rented back in September. I think it will be close.

Yeah, being in an uncomfortable bed at a place with no food seems much more relaxing than staying home.

VRBO just sent out emails saying all site fees would be refunded upon cancellation and credits would be required for stay by property owner.

I have an airbnb for June, can I cancel?

I for one won't be using VRBO going forward for bookings

I have 3 mountain condos (2 in Crested Butte, 1 in Breckenridge), and this will likely cost me 8-9k just from March 15-31. Fortunately, April and May are mud/slow season so that should only be about a 5k loss. I think my realistic best case scenario is I'm at 90-95% occupancy with a 10-15% discount on normal prices starting in June. I'm only this bullish because I think a lot of Coloradans will take more in-state vacations and because I think mortality rate (especially outside of Washington state) will rapidly go down as more testing is done.

We booked a house in Carmel for several days in May through VRBO. The mgmt company said to keep monitoring developments and if we get into April and the virus is still an issue, we can move our deposit to any other open date.

We booked a Barcelona Airbnb 10 months ago.....checkin date is 4/16/2020
