Forget flatten, let's eliminate it!

Why aren't we telling seniors and those with conditions to stay home for a while, instead of shutting the world down? Are we going to gradually let the population back into the wild or do it all at once?

For awhile? How long do you think it takes for an entire population of people to get infected and recover? It's also not just the elderly that are ending up in ICU. Everyone thinks there's a simple answer, but there's not.

So, you have paid zero attention to the things you have read regarding flattening the curve and why it is important for more than just seniors to try to isolate themselves?
