Sister and BIL are both pharmacists. Own a couple shops in the Valley. They ordered a crapload of Plaquenil already.

I love my rental house, but it is close to a large transportation area. I can tell you the trains are running full steam ahead and there hasn't been any drop off in the number of trucks leaving one of the largest concrete plants in Texas. As well as the large US Foods distribution center down the street. We are running around like dogs at work trying to keep up with construction demand in Austin still (I pray multiple times a day this continues).

Had a conference call earlier today with one of our vendors (large computer manufacturer) who finally has their primary China factory up and running again. It's in an area well away from Wuhan and was never seriously impacted by the virus. They're still having issues with some parts, especially the newest Intel processors (that issue actually predates the Kung Flu because Intel once again has processor production problems, but the virus just made it worse) but an issue that has now cropped up is a lack of shipping containers. When ships were dropping off on the US left coast, they were not taking empty containers back to Asia so now there is a shortage of shipping containers, especially in China. It will eventually work itself out, but will probably take a month or two at the earliest.

So the good news is that manufacturing in China is ramping back up. The bad news is it will take a while to get shipping back to an equal footing.

My dad drives one of those 18 wheelers. He is being tested right now in Austin and has all of the symptoms. I'm in quarantine.

I hope your Dad tests negative and is okay. Same for you. Hang in there. I have been quarantined from work due to travelling to Vegas for work last week. All of us who went have been ordered to not come to any of the company facilities fro 14 days. I ma fortunate in that I can work from home.

Thanks man. He is very sick and had a hell of a time getting thru the red tape to get tested. He was in New Orleans Thursday-Sunday.

I would post more about it but Brandon allows way too many *******s on Texags nowadays. In the meantime I am going to hopefully continue to not show symptoms.
