We were talking about this at work today, and I thought I could find the answer online by searching.
Maybe I am having an off day of googling skills, but I can't find the answers.

I live in the Midland/Odessa Texas area (but everyone everywhere must want to know this) and I have not seen or heard of any place to get tested locally.
Not to mention we don't all live in a huge metropolis where we KNOW they have testing centers.

Does anyone have a link to where testing centers are located?
Do you have to go up the chain of command starting with our personal doctor?

I don't know of anyone who may need it, but I would like to be helpful if they do.
Thank you in Advance.

These were instructions we received:

Start here:
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html

Click on: "if you think you are sick" and fill out the questionnaire. The site will then direct you to a series of questions to answer. If the answers to the questions indicate that you should be tested, the website will direct you to the nearest drive-through location for a swab test. According to officials, results should be available in 24-48 hours.

Dont know how far away a testing location is for you, but that would likely be a good resource.

That's a great change as these drive thru options become available.

There should be more and more testing centers coming online in the next few days to a week as the testing kits and labs become more available. The local and state health departments should be coordinating with doctor's offices to get information out to their patients regarding where to go to get tested.

Ideally each local health department and state should have a website set up mapping out testing locations and what is required for testing. As far as I know many have not done this yet.
