If we're supposed to be avoiding groups, sheltering in place, etc.; doesn't grocery delivery, food delivery, take out, seem to contradict this strategy? If we're worried about community spread, does this logic seem disingenuous or inconsistent?

Even in Italy, France, and Spain they have not closed grocery stores. They might put limits on when people can shop, or how many can go in, but they're not going to cut off the food supply to the entire nation. Doing that would be an almost instantaneous and complete breakdown of society.J.P. 03 said:
Yes, I agree with you, but if the only alternative was to tell everyone they had 24 hours to acquire all the food they could possibly need for the next 14 days because all the grocery stores were about to close, I think it's a risk we all have to take.
