Exactly! Soon their will be another sports figure, actor or politician tweet out that they tested positive. Don't worry though because they are fine not feeling any affects of the virus.

If they have no symptoms how was a test justified?

Side benefit to the celebs getting tested. I can't think of any who have even been hospitalized, and that needs to get out there too.

I was offered the test last Friday and told I'd have results in 3 days or less.

I was offered the test last Friday and told I'd have results in 3 days or less.
Good for you. Earliest I've had a test come back is 5. Most are 6. They go to the central lab then shipped to a contracted facility in North Carolina

I am not the first to posit this, but I think it bears repeating. The more celebrities that acquire COVID and recover, the better.

I am sure the media hopes this is a panic-inducing clickbait, but it could actually reduce public anxiety as more "high profile" patients are diagnosed and recover.

Hopefully people stay calm, stay home, and know that this too shall pass.
