Have you our someone you know tested positive for Covid-19? What part of the country do you or they live in? How old are you or they? How long have you known about you or they having it? How did you contract it if known ( close personal contact or unknown, etc.)?

If you have it or someone else does we could be getting for them.

We are still at the "know someone who knows someone" stage. Denton County.

Thankfully, no.

I would not be surprised if a coworker comes down with it. He just got back from a vacation in an area which has already exported several other cases to Brazos County. He's been told to stay home for 2 weeks from the day he returned before he can come back to work and is not happy about it.
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

Yep - I work at A&M, staff member that works on same floor as I do is one of the 6 confirmed Brazos County cases. Thankfully in this case there was not major exposure to coworkers and decontamination occurred quickly. That's all I'm able to provide on a public message board.

A distant cousin had it. She passed away early this week. I don't know where she lived (I was getting updates through another cousin on Facebook). She was 49.

Denton County. Symptoms started the evening of March 8. My entire body was suddenly sore. Developed a dry cough and intermittent low fever. Very weak. One night I was concerned that I was struggling to breath, but not quite enough to head to the hospital. I started feeling like I could resume normal life middle of this week.

I have the immune system of a demi-god, so being down even 48 hours is very rare for me. To be down a week was an experience I can't recall happening before. I'll get the antibody test when it comes out.

Why is that concerning? This virus likes cold temperatures and relatively low humidity. Vail and ski resorts in general are perfect breeding grounds for viruses of this type. Lots of people in a colder environment huddled together in lodges and mountain restaurants.
