State liquor laws prohibit home delivery of booze but the Liquor Board has granted a waiver for the next few weeks. I think it only applies to the 19 counties OUT OF 77 OK counties that are under the "shelter at home" edict.

My wife and I stocked up on our favorite beer, wine, and booze last week and we only consume adult beverages in moderation. We aren't likely to run out, but I'm glad my two favorite alcohol suppliers will have some business.

This is only short exception and only applies to 19 counties out of 77. When it comes to alcohol laws in OK one must thread lightly.

And FWIW, I think it's an OK idea when liquor stores are closed. I DON"T think it is a good idea in a normal environment.

Don't worry. When this is all said and done Abbott will make sure we put these laws back into place. It's for your own safety of course.

Why not? Why should the state be able to get in between me and a third party about how we do business and how I spend my money? Is the state trying to protect me? I'm fine, thank you very much.

Having done some legal work in the liquor business (although by no means am I an expert), this law is likely to protect the liquor stores' business. Texas has similar ridiculous laws.

To be fair, Abbott doesn't (and shouldn't) have the right to "put these laws back into place." He only has the power to suspend for an emergency, I guess, although I question whether he even really has THAT power. Complain to the legislature.

whitestone is. I saw New Braunfels Brewing Co is delivering to austin on pre-set days. Trying to remember the others...there were a couple others that posted on FB that they were doing deliveries.

Interesting regarding NBBC because they don't normally distribute to most Austin stores. Maybe that's their loophole to get around their distributors?

3.2 beer is a thing of the past in OK and has been since Oct 1, 2018. Nobody in OK sells it anymore.

You need to get out more. Heck, I can't even buy wine in grocery stores here in Colorado and they just allowed full strength beer in grocery stores last year. There are some pretty wild liquor laws across the country.

We played golf today in Oklahoma. They had the doors open so no touching anything. Everyone had their own cart. You can't pull the pin. The holes had noodle styrofoam inserts so you didn't have to reach in. 4 people 4 carts,

We can do this and social distance. Pretty sure it helped my wife mentally to have me out of the house.

Great day! We can still have fun but it's more challenging.

Plus we supported the golf course and all the people that work there. No tees in the cart, no scorecard ( keep your score in your head ).

It's not that hard. Of course some will get upset that we had fun when we should be miserable.

I don't know on cleaning, but I'm sure they are washing them down for use the next day. Bring a wipe if you are worried.
