Bumping the roster up to 50 tells me that they don't intend to shut down just because a few players test positive, and that's definitely the right move.

i wonder who gets to vote I would think the stars would be less interested in this plan. Maybe the larger rosters is how the owners stack the vote towards PlayBall

Maybe - also could be because there's no minors this year and they need to get some of those guys reps as well.
