I read a good explanation on discrepancy- there has always been a discrepancy on death certs and reports. It's just now that the variance has gotten large that people/doubters noticed it.

So this Doctor is using his N of 1 personal experience and asking around to a few other doctors to decide that official government statistics are wrong? Seems legit.

This is how conspiracy theories start. "The Government scientists were putting out this data but I just knew something wasn't right."

We also have doctors saying they haven't seen any COVID patients coming through. Some were posting on this board. I'm sure they could question the government COVID data as well based on their firsthand experience.

Similar to Covid, most people who die from the Flu are very aged or have chronic health conditions, or both

Yes there are exceptions. But they are the rare exceptions.

We get 1-2 otherwise perfectly healthy kids each year that have a bad reaction to the flu and die. Many times they get sick enough and turn septic. But 1-2 cases per year in a pediatric population of millions is still very rare.
The 1918 Influenza pandemic was reportedly much worse for young adults than for the elderly. In fact, Influenza A is allegedly much more dangerous to children than to adults.

The popular theory is that the elderly in 1918 built up an immunity by being exposed to the 1889-90 flu.
