Just got out of a faculty meeting where my department head told us that all faculty and students will be required to wear masks when in a group setting (aka class). Additionally, our classrooms now have an approved occupancy smaller than the number of students registered for the classes. This means I have to figure out what to do with the other 11 students in my 24 student course because the room can now only hold 14.
I'm at Jacksonville State in Jacksonville, Alabama and this is my first year as an assistant professor. To say this will be an interesting year is probably an understatement.
