Here's an article about the data written in mid May.

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-spain-idUSKBN22P1IK

The data in the study was collected in late April!

Quote:

The study, carried out by the Carlos III Health Institute and the National Statistics Institute, began on April 27. It tested some 60,000 people for the presence of antibodies generated to fight off the coronavirus.

In other words, in no way does it reflect anything resembling the current reality in Spain.

That was the first phase. The 3rd phase results were released Monday showing an increase from the 1st phase of .2%. 5% to 5.2% in over 2 months.

I have yet to read this study, but I was clearing out some old emails and came across this in one of them:

"About 1,000 of the USS Theodore Roosevelt's 4,900-member crew tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, about 60% had developed antibodies, and 59% of those who had developed antibodies had neutralizing antibodies, suggesting some level of resistance, according to a study published in the CDC's Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report. Most of the infections were mild or asymptomatic, and the use of protective face coverings appears to have reduced transmission, the study found."

Will be interesting to see if they get tested after a few months post recovery and still have high antibody titers, considering most were asymptomatic (and supposedly that leads to a lower antibody levels).
