The bigger question on a mask is not whether you were wearing one, but how many places you were at that you can remember many other people not wearing them.
The mask won't protect you from catching it if you're near someone who is not.
Honest question, why not? Do they only work in one direction? Really don't understand this reasoning.
Just trying to understand the physics involved.
Do masks only work in one direction? If so would it be safer to put in on inside out?
Do mask only work on water droplets and not aerosol?
If so the water droplets should get stopped on the outside of the mask wearer's mask right?
If they don't work on aerosol and that's a common cause of spread then maybe they don't really work.
Honestly just trying to understand this.
