I don't see how we would have enough plasma to make it a wide-spread use, especially after recent studies show asymptomatic people rarely produce antibodies.

Follow the money. The big money are drugs and vaccines. Simple. It's a shame that Plasma and its benefits won't get the research that it deserves.
