So about a month ago, my sons girlfriend was diagnosed with Covid-19.
She had been with my family the entire weekend on a trip to San Antonio. We returned on Sunday, she started complaining of a headache and got tested for Covid on Monday.
So we assumed my son would get it for sure. I mean 17 and 18 year olds are certainly were not social distancing prior to her test.
My son was tested a week later and came back negative.
Then when my family recently donated blood we were all negative for antibodies. This was a surprise since we assumed that we must have already had it and been asymptomatic.
If mask orders are so important, then why didn't we get it from her on our trip? The only time we were wearing masks was when they were mandated by the place that we were entering.
