I put a mask on only as a courtesy to restaurant and retail employees. I'm not going to make life more difficult for people that already have crappy jobs. However, that courtesy ends as soon as I step outside.
The whole no face touching and extra hand washing thing does not enter my calculus. I've accepted the fact that everyone, myself included, is going to catch this mild illness. I will continue to make as few changes to my life as possible until the collective irrational fear in this country has subsided.
Yep. Although I'm not convinced everyone will have it as some point. I think the r rating can get to a point where it spreads to minimally that plenty will end up avoiding it. Maybe only 60/70/80% get it. And the absolute most vulnerable stand a better chance of NOT getting the faster the younger crowd spreads it. That's been my general thought. But for the most part, those not isolating themselves will almost all end up getting it at some point. Hopefully only those that need to avoid it do. And the rest of us let society get back to normal ASAP. In Texas I think we are over that hump. With or without masks from this point on. But many don't agree. That's okay
But in general. Other than wearing masks indoors when required, I haven't changed anything else as of now
Covid is never going away even if a vaccine is developed. Everyone will eventually get it although significant amounts of people will be asymptotic or have symptoms so mild they won't notice.
