I will be traveling for work next week for the first time since March. Is there any benefit to the following:

1) a daily nasal spray (I've seen suggestions of saline with baby shampoo)
and/or
2) Mupirocin swabs in each nostril daily

Mupirocin is an antibiotic cream and has no effect on viruses.

I see no benefit of a nasal spray and possible harm due to actually introducing the virus via mechanical insertion into your nose.

I've had to fly quite a bit the past couple of months for work. I've never done anything like you've listed above. I wear a surgical mask the whole time I'm in the airport/plane. I also try to social distance from people while waiting in the airport. I'd recommend flying Southwest or Delta if you have any say in it. Both have done much better job related to Covid changes compared to American or United, in my opinion. I always try to book the earliest flight possible when traveling for work. Another thing I've done is to go straight from flight to my hotel if time allows and shower/change into clean clothes. Started doing this after a man sitting behind me coughed non-stop for three hours on one of my flights. Might be overkill most of the time to do this, but probably couldn't hurt.

I'd also recommend look up the vitamin preventative regimen that Reveille on here recommends. Been following his advice since March.

I have been in 20+ hotel rooms in the last 2 months across 8 states. I have done nothing other than wear a mask where mandated.

I take a multivitamin and that vitamin C booster like I have for a couple years.

No issues. When I first resumed traveling I kept some Lysol with me for hotel rooms, but stopped after 3-4 trips. You are literally entering into a world of the cleanest airports/gas stations/hotels that has ever existed.

been back to traveling for work last couple of months myself..... lots of flights and hotels.

Wear a mask, keep my distance, keep hand sanitizer in my bag, although i haven't' used it the last few trips. Hotels are cleaner than they ever have been. Only once have I sat next to someone on a flight without an empty seat next to me.

I also go out to dinner with people I work with, just follow the local rules. I was thrilled to finally start traveling again.
