I think I have read the answer here before but don't remember and can't find it.

Son, 20 yrs old, had Covid in September. No biggie and got over it quickly. Had two days of low grade fever and just some congestion. His girlfriend has tested positive now. How contagious is he?

Thanksgiving coming up and grandparents will be around. Appreciate any insight.

She will be contagious for 10 days from the date of onset of symptoms according to CDC

I would ask her not to attend if GPs will be around.

That's what we're doing for our fam. Come back at Xmas and we will see you then uncontagious.

No credible individual or organization, that I've seen, has indicated that recovered individuals are or could be contagious in the next few following months.

The lone exception is Fauci's latest unsubstantiated nonsense that vaccinated individuals are going to be spreading it everywhere but are themselves protected.

Thats not what he said. He said we don't have data on that. As I mentioned in the other thread I can see why it may not be automatically assumed

Yes, the girlfriend will not be coming for sure. I am sure he has been exposed but I would also assume he still has a pretty high antibody count as well. My guess is he wouldn't be able to spread anything but not sure.
