I have an older, at-risk relative that has to have work done on their house. There are no "strictly" quarantined friends or relatives they can stay with, so I wanted to see if I could get any opinions on what minimizes their risk.
I assumed it would be "see the least people", but I don't know what the risk is for being in spaces people were in after they've left for the day.
Would it be better to encourage them to keep their distance during the work while being in the house and be ok to sleep at their house, or have them go to a hotel to avoid the space people were in?
I was hoping to have them go hang out in the hotel for a few days while I took care of any problems at the house, but that's listed as risky as well and I have a feeling that they'll be "seeing to" the work at some point, and maybe mixing being in the house at all plus a hotel is the worst combination.
Any opinions are appreciated.
