you might get a fever of 100 later that day after the second shot, but you won't have the potential for lung sequelae.

I think I've got it figured based on the messaging. Let me explain:
The vaccine takes two doses and six weeks to work.
The side effects will be horrible for most people, unlike the virus.
The effect lasts an additional two weeks.
The effect is that you can still get infected.
And you can still transmit the virus.
Did I miss anything.
