I have found quite a bit of information on the internet about gastrointestinal issues as a precursor for COVID symptoms in about 10% of COVID cases. This is a bit surprising to me because all of the questions you answer prior to going into a hospital/Dr's office are always about fever/respiratory symptoms (at least in my experience).

Anyway, what the articles and papers mention is that usually the gastrointestinal symptoms are diarrhea, nausea, bloating and vomiting (heart burn, indegestion, etc., also possible) and can show up days prior to more typical COVID symptoms.

Haven't been able to find much on the internet on other gastro issues, specifically constipation, except for this article:

Anyway, to the point, any doctors seen folks who experienced constipation prior to covid symptoms?
