I got a MMR II vaccine because I have never had one. It turns out that it was given by the wrong method. IM instead of SC. Merck instructions say SC only. CDC seems to indicate that even when given wrong the efficacy is likely the same.

Has anyone had experience with this issue?

I guess I should probably now get the second dose just in case.

By the way, I did the vaccine in case in helps with COVID. It probably won't but it can't hurt.

It should be fine! There is a potential benefit by theoretically improving the innante immune response.

How did you not already have the MMR Vax? Serious question. I had one as a kid in the 70's.
