With extended family / at the store / coworkers? Or do you get a little closer than you did 6-9 months ago?

Don't social distance with family and close friends. At some point we have to accept some risk.
I socially distance in stores.
Same but I've always stayed away from people at stores.Knucklesammich said:

It's like the proverb about the best time to plant a tree. The best time to stop was last May, the second best time is today.camelclub said:

What is your definition of "knowing " someone that has died or been in the hospital?
For me it has to be friends or family of friends to have died and even for that it has been more than a month for me. Same with hospitalization

I live life normally but I am a pediatric ICU RN and learned a long, long time ago that it is not healthy to live life in fear. Never take a day for granted. If someone wants a hug, I hug them.
Right now I am 3/3, but I still did not wear a mask when I was 0/3, 1/3, or 2/3.Duncan Idaho said:camelclub said:

When 2 of 3 conditions get met:
1) After I getvaccinatedcovid and am immune,
2) Any stores/municipalities I enter stop asking/requiring
3)I go a month without knowing anyone that has been admitted to the hospital/died from the covid.
Right now I am 0/3

I have now had COVID and both doses of the vaccine but I still mask at work and in public. At work it is not an option and in stores I am mainly doing it out of respect for the people who work there and don't really have the ability to not interact with the general public.
The people who make an hourly retail employee tell them to put on a mask are just morons who are doing their own brand of nonmask virtue signaling.

The people who make an hourly retail employee tell them to put on a mask are just making a choice not to wear a mask and as long as they explain that kindly to the store employee and don't act like an ass, are fine.
