The short answer is I'm a pragmatist, not a hypochondriac.
The longer answer is we have been consistently told that these vaccines did not bypass any step in a traditional review, and that it was merely accelerated and that they are safe for humanity-wide use.
Either that's true or it isn't.
The implication here is that another government agency stamp may lead to a different formulation or mechanism of action, which brings into question what about the billion or so people that already got the shot? If that is not the case, then what's the concern?
To be clear, I'm not advocating for mandatory vaccinations. Simply saying one more agency stamp doesn't make me have any more or less confidence given this is already happening world-wide.
