This sounds pretty dumb but people are saying you can make others sick from your shot/vaccine. Thoughts or comments.

Agree. Some have gone as far as to say you can get other symptoms.... they have gone nuts.

Pfizer and Moderna are mRNA. There is no virus. Can't shed what you don't have.
J&J and AZ use a carrier virus, not COVID. It has the spike protein RNA. Can't shed COVID. The carrier viruses don't cause illness in humans. It would be amazing if you could shed that carrier virus and infect others so they don't really need a vaccine, but that isn't the case either.

After getting the shot, your immune system should mount a response. Many "symptoms" of illness are due to the immune response. Fever, tiredness, etc are the result of your body attempting to fight off an infection. In the case of Moderna and Pfizer, the vaccine is just tricking your body into thinking it has an infection to fight off.

It hasn't made people dumber. It's just helped dumb people connect to each other. Imagine the world's largest quidditch tournament, but instead of nerd hookups that might produce a future generation of somewhat useful people, social media facilitates stupid people hookups. Yes, eventually they will produce a race of inbred bottom feeders, but that is still a few years away. For now, we're just witnessing the machinations of the extant half-wit forbears.
