So my wife went in on Monday to get her normal yearly check up. they gave her a tetanus Booster. She told them she was having her 2nd shot of pfizer today. they said it wasn't an issue. The covid people now don't want to give it to her today. Best course of action? get her doctor on the phone and have her tell them to do it? This is actually happening at her place of work. Note I do expect dumbass answer like don't get it or post tits but at least some will give me a real answer.

IIRC, the CDC official recommendation (take it for what it's worth) is no other shots 14 days before or after a COVID shot. I'm sure the vaccine people are following that guideline. I think having her doctor call would help, but I don't know if it would work.

I'd pressure the doctor to give it to her if a Dr. note won't suffice. I'd having them at the same time, tetanus is bad enough for sore arm on its own.

The Walgreen's informed consent form for the vaccine asked if I've had a pneumonia, shingles, or pertussis vaccine, but not tetanus specifically. Makes no difference I guess since the pertussis and tetanus vaccine are given together along with the diphtheria. But now I know why they were asking.

So I got my moderna within the 14 day time frame of my tetanus shot. I'm alive

I have a weird side effect. I don't know if ANYONE else has experienced this. But I'm hot all the damn time now

Well, I'm not going to say not to do that.

I suspect CDCs recommendation has more to do with identifying which vaccine caused the side effects than are actual evidence to suggest having the two vaccines at or near the same time is bad. Kids get multiple vaccines at a time regularly.
