Recently Vaccinated in UK have higher date rate with Delta

First I read this and thought, what does vax status have to do with dating Delta Burke. Then I realized what you meant to say. Check your numbers because I think you read them wrong. I see 117 died of which 50 were fully vaccinated while 67 either were not vaxed at all or not fully vaxed. And I'm not sure that represents a rate anyway. Just the breakdown in this particular population.
Unless you are two weeks post second shot with mRNA or two weeks post single J&J you are not vaccinated.
Under 50 still looking good to go.

You do realize the vast majority of at risk groups are vaccinated at this point, right? This chart represented in absolute values instead of percentages represents the UKs effectiveness in getting vaccines to the adult population more than anything else.
How does this move the needle on the mortality calculator? I doubt it does.

I would like to see the % risk for a vaccinated person to become seriously ill with this variant. My guess as a non math person - it is miniscule. Compare it to a car wreck or other malady. I'm done looking at covid numbers in a vacuum.

A clear majority of UK population is vaccinated so your denominator of that rate is much larger.

I don't know how the average person goes through life without a basic understanding of how numbers work. Yet businesses count on it. One example is restaurants where the combo meal doesn't provide any discount for combining the sandwich, fries, and drink. But when you make all your profit on the sugar water, you can't afford to have educated consumers.
