Isn't it funny how far we've come? Getting a shot you don't really want, that you don't think will actually help, that possibly has risks you don't want, just to get papers to be allowed back in the office? Touche.
I'm in the exact same boat. My employer is running a full court press on pressuring everyone to get vaccinated and if you are not wearing a mask then you must have a copy of your vaccine card filed with HR. All of the executive management has a roster of vaccinated/un-vaccinated and I could face termination if found not wearing a mask.
I'm 32 and had a mild case of covid back in January. My 28 year old wife had covid a few weeks ago and went through it with no issues. My parents and her grandparents are the most at risk in our family and they've all been vaccinated. So we're at a point where we feel like with natural immunity we should be in good shape, yet society is looking at me like I'm still putting everyone around at risk just by being in the same room. I almost went to get the J&J vaccine the other day just so I could be done with the BS at work, but I stopped myself because I just didn't feel right about being coerced into this. I absolutely hate the spot we're in as a country right now.
