"I'm sad to announce that I'll be taking a medical redshirt this year to recover from a knee injury I suffered earlier this season. I'm so grateful for the support that I have around and the girls and the coaches on this team to help me get through it. I'll be cheering them on every step of the way, and I can't wait to get back on the court!!"

Sure seemed like that was coming. Darn it.

Sux, big time. But not sure why this had to be such a closely guarded secret for the first 10 games of the season.

I just noticed her in the brace after a poster mentioned pre game this weekend! She hasn't had one on the weeks prior so I'm assuming she maybe tried to see if it was an injury she could recover from but then decided surgery was best. She was standing with the bench players and just recently moved to the bench.

Hopefully this inspires others to get some aces for Margot

Sad to see her season end before it started. She is a very capable setter and has the coach's trust when she is called on to take the court.

These girls have been playing since before their teenage years. Almost everyone is nursing some kind of injury. Hopefully she her recovery goes well as well as any rehab.
