Helmuth had a rough game but she'll be fine. She seems to have the biggest up and down swings but can certainly light it up. I think certain types of blocking is her kryptonite which affects the rest of her game. Luckily we have a lot of weapons.

Just got home from the game and was going to go over the stats. But the postgame links to box score and recap are missing. I wonder if they are correcting stats.

They split senior night up and they honored 4 of them today. Logan Lednicky, Ifenna Cos-Okpalla, Ava Underwood, and Morgan Perkins. They'll honor the others on Sunday I believe.

Interesting they do do it midway through conference play, but I like the gesture of splitting it up and giving each girl the time and recognition they deserve. Probably having 2 home games in 3 days went into that decision. And we'll focus on winning out the other home games in the back half of the schedule

Interestingly enough, we're almost halfway through conference play. At 6-1, we have 8 remaining conference games. The toughest will be at home vs tu and at Tennessee on another Friday/Sunday matchup. Then at Florida. We are currently the lone team in 3rd with 1 loss. Tu and Kentucky are undefeated. Florida and Tennessee are at 2 losses. Everyone else already has 3 or more.

Top 4 teams get a double bye in the conference tournament.

Let's take care of business against the piggies on Sunday at home. Then we have two road matches at LSU and at Ole Miss. Before we're back home halloween might against tu. LSU has some talent on the outsides and always play us tough.

The goal is to get to 9-1 with a huge matchup Halloween night in front of 10k at Reed.

We thought it was an odd call as well, but it was great for the four that got their moment tonight. Super loud ovation for Ifena, Logan, and Ava! They will be missed for sure!

All of the tall girls' dads were super tall. I guess that's where the tall genes are passed down from. I always apologize to my daughter that I wasn't taller. She could have been a D1 setter... LOL

Yes! I said it a lot preseason, but I'm glad those girls stuck with Jamie and put their trust in him and his staff. Morgan Perkins joined on board the off-season Jamie came in and was his first addition after she left Oklahoma. They trusted a man with no NCAA head coaching experience and it seems to have paid off!

Ifenna's story is even more amazing because she admitted she was going to quit the sport altogether after her freshman year but saw the coaching change as a sign to give it another try, now she's one of the best in the nation!

I think that is what happened as I was looking as well and even went to the Oklahoma website and their game story did not include stats.

However, I think we are in luck now as they finally got the livestats corrected which gave me everything I wanted to know.
