I know we were focused on the response to the emotional win over tu, but this was still a huge win over an RPI #18 team on the road. With the SEC being really weak at the bottom, we secured two wins against the conference's best!! We might have secured the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament at home. College Station will host! Now let's fight for a higher seeding!

My back of the envelope math tells me that should lock up the double bye in the Tourny with us beating UT and Auburn losing to Georgia.

Double bye is huge. Jamie's complaint about the SEC tournament format is no rest days. A bottom half SEC looking to win the tournament has to play 5 matches in 5 days. 3 matches in 3 days for a top 4 team is hard enough.

And it'll save our rpi by avoiding matchups against teams that are most likely out of the top 100, and give us at a minimum 1 decent opponent and potentially 2 huge ones. Right now we're looking at a rematch with texas and a win there would be a rematch with Kentucky potentially.

No idea where ncaa's RPI numbers are from but Masseys had us climbing 3 spots after the texas win to #10! Doesn't include today's games.

With one more good matchup against UF and then opportunities for big wins in the conf tourney, wonder if there is any way to climb to #8. Though again, I don't know where NCAA's numbers come from.

I'm anxious too and I wonder how the committee will view us compared to the RPI. I think beating texas and having a hot start to the end of the season will absolutely help.

NCAA RPI has us jumping 2 spots to #11.

From #11, we're closer to #7 than dropping down to #12!

Utah is barely hanging on at #50, we need them to get one upset against 14 TCU, 23 Baylor, 21 Kansas, or 16 BYU x2. I can't believe I'm going to root for Auburn to win to get into the top 50.
