As for our libero, I don't know as much about volleyball as some on here but I think she's one of the best teammates on the team and is one of the leaders of the team. This group of girls is special in a lot of ways and the way they have all come together is one of them.
all true but she is still one of our weakest links.

One of the volleyball mysteries - the vanishing middle attack. I don't necessarily think this only happens at A&M but with our middles, no reason to not set them. The outside set is the bread and butter for all setters though. Ifenna sells a really good fake attack which should open up the block for Stowers.

I don't understand why Waak goes away from setting our middles when times get tough. Ifenna didn't get set in that run at the end.

Ifenna got set at least twice during the Vandy run. The point that we challenged as tipped at the net (but lost the challenge) was a set in the middle to her that was hit long. The very next point, we came back to her again and the attack was hit out of bounds to the left. Ifenna had a fantastic match with 11 kills and 3 attack errors (along with the normal mass of blocks). We did set her during that run, but unluckily those two points noted above were two of her three errors from the match.

Yes, but I think the question comes into play with setting her OOS vs in system. I'm also guessing I missed these two swings(whoops). I caught the last 4 points, Ifenna wasn't set.

Also, the set location of Waak in almost all
Those last 4 points "trapped" the hitters. The balls were set too tight. Middles it's ok to set a little tight. Pin hitters, not so much.

I think in most people's minds, we're thinking of multiple perfect passes that keeps going to the outside.

The one Ifenna miss that we challenged, if I remember right, was a bit of a hectic set. It looked like Cos-okpalla was trying to find some hands to hit up into because she wasn't able to jump high due to the lower set. That's why she called for a touch right away.

Kind of like when the ladies beat LSU on a Friday and then the guys destroyed LSU the next day? I'll take that!
