you have to play someone else now. Not much time for Hellmluth to figure it out unfortunately. Surprised we didn't go to Perkins at least once there.
I just don't think Helmuth has the athleticism to be successful against elite teams.

unfortunately, we are one left side from being an elite team, can't have one outside hitting -.190 after 3 sets and expect to win against another elite team

She's taken 21 swings, 8 errors, only 4 kills
She has triple the amount of swings then Cos-Okpalla and Perkins do

Our ball control isn't consistent enough to generate lots of opportunities for the middle attacker. Hard to set the middle when you're setting from the 3M line constantly.
Helmuth can't make adjustments quickly enough, and that has been an issue against good teams.

See, that's where I think you're wrong. I said it after Vanderbilt. We aren't taking advantage of the good passes we are getting. We are setting our pins way too much. Waak has made quite a few poor decisions tonight. Underwood has been decent for once. This match is on Waak
HawkEye has helped but volleyball review still has a ways to go.

I would agree this is a problem but not necessarily our biggest problem...Waak doesn't feed her studs consistently enough.

Yes this! People keep complaining where she is setting but she doesn't have much of a choice
totally agree, your outside can't be set 5 to 1 compared to your middles.
And there is the example. A good pass and she feeds the middles

Learn from it, got all week to reset and refocus. Sunday we find out the bracket. Then it's do or die. This is a team with 9 seniors, no shoulda coulda woulda, it's now or never.
