Louisville is solid, they've made 3 of the last final fours but their coach left and is now coaching Nebraska. They promoted their assistant. They have an outside hitter in Chloe Chicoine who can carry the team much like Hendrix did for TCU. But they also have an all American middle blocker Cara Cresse who is very good defensively. They serve tough. But you slow down Chicoine, they are beatable. They've lost 5 five set matches this year. I think tonight will prepare us well for Louisville.

12-8-32 for a .125 hitting percentage is not a good night. Add in 3 service errors. Wouldn't exactly call that nails

The main issue they need to figure out is how TCU is blocking us so effectively. Lednicky could not buy a kill in that last set at times.

I'm not as concerned about TCU's star OH. She's short and they can sometimes be very tricky to block.

Above all I trust Jamie, but love him for trusting Fitch with the season on the line there. Fitch is a very highly touted recruit out of a dominant Cornerstone Christian program in San Antonio. She's been regarded for her defensive ability all throughout her prep career. Tonight Hellmuth struggled in serve receive so Jamie made the change and it paid off. We'll see if Louisville attacks Hellmuth and how she responds, but it's great knowing Fitch can play back there as well. Humphrey came in also and had a beautiful dig

Haha I know! Emily did have a leash that was way too long tonight. That specific rotation tonight cost us over 20 points. We didn't do anything to move around the rotation and change the passers. It was a little bit frustrating from a coaching perspective, to wait so long to pull the trigger for a change.

Fully agree with you. Hellmuth had a quality night. Not sure why there is some agenda here to make her a goat. No one in our rotation tonight was perfect. Far from it. This is a competitive sport.

Agreed. She's a very streaky player so need to call her in during the lows. I still think Morrison is giving her every opportunity to get things going. She was amazing last year!!
