Fifth year in a row in the final four!

This will be the battle of the balanced offense vs single player offense.
Normally I would say balanced is better (see nebraska and us) but Babcock is just so good. We had problems containing the Kentucky OHs and can't seem to dig up a strong back row attack. Even if our serves are causing them to get out of system, they just set her back row.
This game will come down to our left side block to get some stuffs and our back court coverage. If babcock hits cross, Lednicky and Waak better be ready. If we can't do that, we will have to be able to match them point for point with our own offense, which we are quite capable of as well.
Babcock is infinitely better I believe, but like the poster said above, Harper Murray has so many better players around her. They will lean on Babcock so much more. We just have to make her uncomfortable as much as we can. A lot of it starts with serving tough, Pitt fans are always complaining about their passing so hopefully we attack them hard serving, then hopefully our block comes up strong.agswin1988 said:
how does the babcock girl compare to the Number 27 from Nebraska?

Pitt isnt a single player offense....yes they use her more than anybody else by far but they have other options
But Babcock is so terminal even from the back line it is amazing

I mean it's an exaggeration of course. They have some other really good players. But I feel like when Lednicky has recently and frequently commented about A&M being a balanced offense and not just about one player, she is specifically talking about Pitt. Maybe I'm just reading too much into it...but I don't think so.
