Trev needs to open the bag and pay him….if there weren't already incentives in contract for winning a Natty they should give him $100K bonus. Then re-structure contract with big-time increase in base. He's actually proven himself. We gave Elmo huge raise and he hasn't won any championships or even a bowl/playoff game

I'd be surprised if we don't see an extension/raise coming his way in the coming months. Like mentioned in a comment before this one, Trev loves Volleyball (Nebraska Alum and former AD). Having good women sports is something we NEED. Softball is looking good, track is consistent, let's go women's basketball!

DBK got something like $850,000 to go from Louisville to Nebraska, so its going to take AT LEAST THAT, plus the assistants, plus the NIL budget....

But thing ring is the thing. This isn't a payment for potential. This is results based ! Love what they are building.

I saw a graphic of top program expenditures and was surprised A&M was up there. I know we overpaid for Bird Kuhn but wasn't sure how much Morrison and the staff made. I hope we keep every coach for the next 2-3 year as we rebuild the roster. Need to sustain this momentum for a while.

You should go watch all the press conferences from this tournament run and specifically listen to Jamie state why he came here.

My guess is after you do that One, you will not be concerned with having to start a thread like this.

I thought I saw he was one of the coaches getting a new contract last month but I suspect we should still add 50% to that now.

Hard to get the contract details. I don't think you can use FOIA/Open Records to get it because it isn't a high enough amount. 2023 payroll data shows $172k, but i think that is calendar year not academic year data. Also think he got a raise/extension last year.

From what I can find, Elliot at Texas is at the top with 800k base + incentives. Nebraska is about 700k plus bonuses. Drops pretty quickly to around 400k. It wouldn't take a lot of dollars to make him close to the top. Not sure he is there yet, as the coaches at the top have multiple natties.

I heard or read somewhere that he is making $250K but I don't know if there were incentives for winning the SEC, making the NCAA tourney, making FInal 4, winning a Natty, etc. I'm sure there were. As said, Trev came from Nebraska and he knows the potential of VB actually being a revenue generating sport. He will do whatever I'm sure to keep Jamie….cannot let a Natty coach leave.

Agree not worried at all. Listen to any interview and Jamie gushes about the 12th man. He wants to sell out Reed. I want a game in Kyle Field. He wanted to build a program and believes A&M can be like Nebraska. I believe Jamie will be here as long as we continue to invest in the program at a level needed to build it into a powerhouse. And I'm confident Trev will continue to support the program.
