1. Nebraska at Reed Arena:
I want to believe Aggieland is becoming a volleyball community. Why not play the Volleyball Gods at home in a sell out Reed Arena and show them what the 12th Man is all about. Let's show them who we are and that it's our time now.
2. @ Wisconsin
A year ago we went and played at Wisconsin in non conference and got beat pretty badly. We then faced them in the sweet sixteen in and lost in a 5 set heartbreaker. We seemed to be on a collision course once again this last postseason until they fell apart and lost to Kentucky in the final four. I want to go back to Madison and show the volleyball world the progress we've made and who we are now. Although rumor has it we will be playing them in a neutral site this year
3. SMU
Another team that should be on our schedule. I want to play them anywhere. It doesn't matter the location, I just want to beat them. They're the epitome of buying their team and for the past 2 years they've been known for buying their starting lineup. Both times they've gotten upset in the sweet sixteen. They're cocky, they're paid for, and I want revenge from last season. We may get to play them at home this year and I want 10,000 plus there welcoming them to Aggieland!
4. @ Penn State
Another volleyball dynasty that I would want to play and another team who's starters are all transfers next year. Rec Hall is one of the most iconic buildings in college volleyball. It's oddly structured, but it would be a cool place to play and I'd love to take them down!
5. Tournament of Texas
My idea would be host a tournament of Texas universities. Us, tu, Baylor, Tech, SMU, TCU, Rice, Houston, UTEP, and others. We always talk about scheduling and RPI, why not showcase the level of play of volleyball in this state with a huge tournament or pool play as such. Multiple cities like Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, attract colleges of all levels, give the smaller schools a big opportunity. Get state wide brands or companies to sponsor. For bragging rights, for trash talk, just let a lot of in state schools play each other, about 2-3 games in a weekend. Texas is a football state, but let's give volleyball some love as well and showcase the sport!
Honorable Mention:
@utrgv selfishly, so I can make the quick drive to see our national champions play
