DALLAS – Momentum is a scary thing.
That was all-too-evident late in the second quarter of sixth-ranked Texas A&M’s dominating 58-6 victory over SMU on Saturday.
Mustangs receiver Der’rikk Thompson was unable flag down a deep pass down the left sideline and his momentum carried him toward a cushion in the south end zone of Gerald J. Ford Stadium, where Texas A&M mascot Reveille was resting.
