Yep! The first one was a surprise. This one we should have expected. But BDF in the rear view mirror is validated.West Point Aggie said:greg.w.h said:
I remain convinced this year validated our 100-year decision. We can wait another seven to nine decades to change our tactics. Our strategy worked!!!
This potentially our SECOND top 5 finish since joining the SEC...how many times did we do that in the sippy cluster?

Texas A&M chancellor John Sharp keen to resume Texas rivalry
Just days after Texas head coach Tom Herman requested the renewal of the historic Aggie-Longhorn rivalry, Texas A&M University System chancellor John Sharp has stated his desire to see the annual competition on the gridiron resume.
In an interview with Texas Monthly, Sharp touched on many topics concerning Texas A&M's flagship College Station campus, including the Aggie football program and the likelihood that the rivalry game, which was discontinued after Texas A&M left the Big 12 for the Southeastern Conference in the summer of 2012, would ever be played again.
Despite his eagerness, Sharp noted there are a multitude of factors that must be considered before the Aggies and Longhorns can hit the field together and cited A&M's rigorous SEC schedule as a major roadblock.

“I know a lot of people would like to see A&M play UT again,” Sharp said. “Not the kids here necessarily, but a lot of the older alumni still ask about it.”
... Sharp won’t rule out the possibility of a rematch sometime in the future. “I’d like to put the UT–A&M game back together. I know the governor wants to put it back together. UT wants to put it back together.”
He thought about it for a minute, and a grin spread across his face.
“Man, can you imagine how much money we could make off that game?”
