Texas A&M continues downward spiral with loss to Kentucky, 74-73

Texas A&M could not put an end to its Southeastern Conference basketball slump on Tuesday night because it could not make clutch plays or get an obvious call in the final minutes.

Consequently, the Aggies (11-5, 0-4) suffered an agonizing, 74-73 loss to No. 21 Kentucky (13-3, 3-1) at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Ky.

A&M, which was dealt its fourth consecutive loss, might have escaped with a victory, but did not get a foul call on the last play.
