Aggies fall behind early, can't catch up to No. 5 Kansas, 79-68

Another slow start put Texas A&M in another hole from which it could not climb out of and resulted in another basketball loss.

The Aggies (13-8) fell to fifth-ranked Kansas 79-68 on Saturday at Phog Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence, primarily because they could not match the Jayhawks backcourt production.

Kansas (17-4) hit 12 three-pointers, compared to A&M’s five, and parleyed 14 turnovers into 24 points to deal the Aggies their seventh loss in nine games.
