Texas A&M inks Lanier (Ala.) quarterback James Foster on Signing Day
The Texas Aggies have added a quarterback to their 2018 recruiting class today as Montgomery (Ala.) signal-caller James Foster has inked with the Aggies. He chose the Maroon and White over Florida State on National Signing Day.
Foster’s signature is a big one for multiple reasons but mainly because this kid can really play. He also held offers from schools such as LSU, Alabama and Missouri. The Lanier HS product checks in at 6-3, 210 pounds.
The future Aggie QB’s letter of intent brings the Aggies' overall class total to 18. His cousin is A&M OL signee Tank Jenkins. The two officially visited College Station together last month. Foster is a big win for Jimbo Fisher over his former club.
