Texas A&M lands a commitment from Carver (AL) LB Ke'Shun Brown
Texas A&M has landed a verbal commitment from Carver (AL) LB Ke’Shun Brown today. The 6-1, 225-pound thumper made his decision known to Jimbo Fisher and staff during his official visit this past weekend in College Station.
Brown’s senior tape is impressive. He flashes playmaking ability all over the field. He’ll line up at inside backer at times, over the tackle as a rush end sometimes, and he even matches up with slot receivers in some clips. He wants to stick his nose into the fray. The tape shows Brown is a big hitter around the line of scrimmage, but he also does a nice job of coming to balance when he gets into positions to make a play. Additionally, Brown shows a good feel for zone drops in the passing game. He’s got a sturdy frame, and he’s thick through this chest and shoulders. You can view Brown’s senior highlights here:
Brown is Texas A&M’s 24th commitment in the 2019 class, and he joins Andre White, RJ Orebo, and Tarian Lee as members of Bradley Dale Peveto’s linebacker class. Furthermore, Brown is this class’ 7th out of state pledge. For A&M, Dameyune Craig's connections in Alabama helped unlock this recruitment which ended in favor of the Aggies.
Brown ultimately chooses the Aggies over Tennessee, LSU, and Mississippi State.
