Abby Grace Cooper interview transcript
On how it feels to score the game-winning goal...
“I’m really proud, and I’m relieved that we finally got a win after a hard-fought battle the whole game. I feel good; I feel really proud of my teammates so we could all stand behind each other and finally get one over them.”
On what a senior night win means to her...
“I’m a redshirt sophomore, so I’ve been with these seniors three years, so I’ve gotten really close with them, they’ve kind of taken everyone under their wings, so everyone is fighting for them, of course, we’re fighting for our team every game but it was really special to win the final home game for them.”
