• I’ll be honest; my reaction to the season ending wasn’t great. On March 12^th, that’s when everything started to hit the fan. Around 11:30 or noon, they planned on shutting us down til March 30^th, then about 2:00, the NCAA made the decision to cancel all championships for winter and spring sports. I immediately texted Ross Bjork and got the response, “I’m as blindsided as you are.” So, that was a lousy way to find out, but we’ll keep moving forward.
   
• It’s hard not to be able to have the guys in the facility. My message to the guys when they left was just to stay healthy. I wish I could’ve been more inspirational, but we were all in shock. When you look at this through the lens of Football and Men’s Basketball, they drive the bus, we’re talking a cancelation spring football and the tournament. That’s huge. The uncertainty is tough. I understand the decision to not want kids in the facility partially, but is them playing here any more dangerous than them jumping on a plane and heading home? These kids are going to go where they can to play golf.
   
• We haven’t really talked about anything eligibility wise with the guys yet; I want to know what the ruling is when we do that. I understand the people saying they think everyone should get a year of eligibility back, saying it’s not fair. But life is not fair, that’s just the world we live in. I think there are some lessons to be learned here if they don’t give the year back. I definitely don’t think it should be seniors only. Why is your last year more important than any other? I have three talented freshmen coming in ready to play next season. I like to think as a program; we do a good job of not having guys transferring out. I think if they do pass this, that transfer portal is going to bust wide open. We will see what they end up doing, and we will move forward and adapt.
