2023 guard Bryce Lindsay commits to Texas A&M basketball
The Texas A&M basketball program has received a verbal commitment from 2023 top-150 recruit Bryce Lindsay.
The 6-foot-3 combo guard from IMG Academy is a Baltimore, MD, product who originally committed to Frank Martin and South Carolina. However, after the Gamecocks’ dismissal of Martin, Lindsay re-opened his recruitment.
After narrowing his list for the second time to West Virginia, Pitt, Mississippi State and Villanova, the Aggies were the last to host Lindsay on an official visit, and he ultimately chose the Maroon & White.
Lindsay is a scoring threat as soon as he walks in the gym, with very deep range and a quick release.
Throughout basketball circles, he is known as a pure shooter, but as of late, Lindsay has shown the ability to make plays for his teammates and create his own scoring options off the dribble. His strength is shooting, but his vision and passing are underrated.
This year, the program will be much improved from behind the 3-point line. With the addition of Bryce Lindsay, next year’s team should be even better.
