2023 Milton (FL) receiver Raymond Cottrell commits to Texas A&M
Texas A&M has added to their 2023 recruiting haul today with the addition of wide receiver Raymond Cottrell out of Milton, Florida.
A long-time Georgia commit, Cottrell did not sign with the Bulldogs during the early signing period and continued to listen to Jimbo Fisher and James Coley’s sales pitch.
At 6-foot-2, 205 pounds, Cottrell provides a sturdy, every-down type presence on the outside. His frame, strength and physicality lend themselves well to creating separation at the top of routes. He shows good toughness through the catch and a willingness to use his body to bulldoze defenders after the catch. He’s also a fairly polished route runner.
You can view his junior highlights below.
Overall, Cottrell becomes A&M’s 19th commitment of A&M’s 2023 class, and he joins Micah Tease as the prep wideouts in the group.
